The Ruling on Shaving the Beard according to the Zaydīs

Q: What is your opinion on shaving the beard and mustache with a razor? Does this fall under the prohibited imitation?

A: Do not object to those who shave their beards, nor deem them as engaging in prohibited imitation.

Q: What is the ruling on trimming the beard or shaving it completely, and what is the ruling on wearing garments below the ankles according to the Zaydi school?

A: Neither of these is prohibited in our view.
