Its Great Virtue:
Scholars from all regions have agreed upon the great virtue of this night and this prayer.

It is narrated from the Prophet ﷺ that he said:

“Whoever prays one hundred rak‘ahs on the night of the 15th of Sha‘ban, Allah will send to him one hundred angels: thirty bring him glad tidings of Paradise, thirty grant him safety from the Fire, thirty protect him from the calamities of this world, and ten protect him from the plots of Shayṭān.”

In another ḥadīth:

“Indeed, Allah forgives all the Muslims on this night, except for a soothsayer, a magician, one who harbors hatred, one addicted to wine, one who disobeys his parents, or one who persists in committing adultery.”

And in another narration:

“Allah will have mercy upon my Ummah on this night in a number equal to the hairs on the sheep of the tribe of Kalb.”
