Imam Ja’far Ibn Muhammad Al Tha’ir & His Two Sons
Imam Jaʿfar ibn Muḥammad al-Thāʾir & His Two Sons
Three Consecutive Imams — Peace Be Upon Them
Gained ascendancy over all of Ṭabaristān in the year 367 AH. His shrine is there.
Rose after his father. Enjoined justice and beneficence and forbade wrong and tyranny, until God took him in the prime of his youth.
Rose in his brother’s stead — his counterpart in excellence and full brother in lineage — in the Jīl, the Daylam, and Ṭabaristān.
Imam al-Thāʾir fī Allāh, Jaʿfar ibn Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī — this ʿAlī being the father of Imam al-Nāṣir li-l-Ḥaqq al-Uṭrūsh — ibn al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAlī ibn ʿUmar, son of Sayyid al-ʿĀbidīn ʿAlī Zayn al-ʿĀbidīn (may God be pleased with them). He gained ascendancy over the entire land of Ṭabaristān in the year 367 AH, and his shrine is there (peace be upon him).
Then his son, Imam Abū al-Ḥasan al-Mahdī ibn Abī al-Faḍl Imam al-Thāʾir fī Allāh Jaʿfar, rose after his father. He enjoined justice and beneficence and forbade wrong and tyranny — until God took him in the prime of his youth.
So there rose in his stead his counterpart in excellence and his full brother in lineage: Imam al-Thāʾir fī Allāh Abū al-Qāsim al-Ḥusayn, son of Imam al-Thāʾir fī Allāh Jaʿfar ibn Muḥammad (may God be pleased with them) — in the regions of the Jīl, the Daylam, and Ṭabaristān.
